My journey as a filmmaker started in my first year of high school. Simply sitting in my world geography class texting my older sister somehow gave me the idea of creating my own feature film. And from the first google search of "how to make a movie", my love and passion for storytelling was discovered. Since then, I've spent as much time as possible honing my skills to create stories that really resonate on a deeper level.

I created Pluma Studio Films to bring a new, fresh perspective of film to the industry. I believe that film has the power to inspire, entertain, and influence, while still including morally grounded themes and characters. However, having the "faith-based" label often leads people to assume these films lack universal appeal or depth. That's why I decided to make "A Different Kind of Film" that resonates with audiences from all walks of life.

The Approach

We believe there’s a place in the film industry for clean, impactful storytelling that doesn’t rely on profanity, sexual content, or other behaviors that are often considered “must-haves” in film. Our films are suitable for audiences of all ages, and our goal is to show that powerful stories don’t need to rely on these elements to make a lasting impact. By focusing on authenticity, faith-inspired values, and universal themes, we’re creating content that reaches across generations and leaves viewers feeling touched and inspired.
